How Troldtekt works with Cradle to Cradle
Since 2012, Troldtekt’s business strategy has been based on the internationally recognised Cradle to Cradle concept.
The vision behind Cradle to Cradle is a world where manufacturers design their products for a circular economy – that is, where the materials can be returned to the new cycle.
Return to the biological and technical cycle
Via our Cradle to Cradle certification, we can document that Troldtekt acoustic panels can be safely returned to the biological cycle as a soil conditioner.
Additionally, dust from the production of Troldtekt panels is returned to the technical cycle and used as a resource in new cement from Aalborg Portland.

The use of renewable energy is a basic principle in Cradle to Cradle. Troldtekt systematically works to increase the share of renewable energy in production.
Water stewardship
At Troldtekt, we work in line with Cradle to Cradle certification requirements for water resource management. Among other things, we are making a positive impact with rainwater basins that also support biodiversity.
